Hey, I’m Sam, the guy behind Wildroad Rentals.
I started Wildroad with one simple goal: to make it easier for people to escape the noise and get out into the wild. Whether it's a spontaneous weekend away, a multi-day mission down a dusty forest service road, or just a need to disconnect and reset, I believe the best kind of therapy starts where the pavement ends.
Born and raised in the UK with deep Welsh roots, I’ve always felt pulled toward the mountains. That pull eventually landed me in North Vancouver—paradise for anyone with a love of bikes, big trees, and bigger adventures. I’ve worked in the cycling industry for years, both behind the camera and the keyboard, combining my love of storytelling with a passion for the outdoors.
My background’s in photography, writing, and marketing, but more than anything, I’m just a dirtbag at heart with a camera and a truck—always looking for the next quiet campsite or ribbon of singletrack. Wildroad brings all of that together: off-road-ready campers built for people who crave real adventure, without the hassle of full-on van life or complicated setups.
